NEW ALBUM FROM JAMAICA’S RISING REGGAE STAR NATURE SET FOR UK RELEASE

Reggae singer Nature is one of the hottest talents in Jamaica, and on Friday, 4th September, he releases his new album ‘Life’s Journey’ on Downsound Record.

Having built a big reputation with tracks such as like Wasting Time, Revolution, World Peace and Hold On, Nature has also become a celebrated live artist thanks to his stunning performances at Reggae Sting, GT Extravaganza, Reggae Sumfest, Island Explosion and Reggae In The Park.

Nature is no overnight sensation, though, having worked tirelessly for a number of years before signing to the mighty independent Jamaican label Downsound Records. Now, with the label’s backing, Nature is finally taking his music to the rest of the world.

Nature said, “I am making music to uplift the mind and the soul, and I want to soothe the soul of all the Jamaicans who are going through a difficult time, whether they are old, middle-aged or teenagers. The people need spiritual food and that is why I am making music”.

Working with producer Cordell ‘Skatta’ Burrell (Sean Paul, Ninja Man, Elephant Man, Beenie Man), the singer recorded over 20 tracks during the album’s sessions. Skatta said, “We chose the best fifteen tracks and we believe ‘Life’s Journey’ has the chance to set the reggae world on fire. Nature is a fierce young voice moving on to bigger things in his future. He is very talented artiste whose time has come now. He is ready.”

Nature, whose real name is Andre Ellis, has been touring extensively in Europe performing shows in France, Italy, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland. He said, “I feel good to be out in the world. As a young artist you have to plant the seeds to build a fan base. Music is a growing process and I take my time to make conscious, positive music that can last a lifetime.”

With a name that signifies his love for the environment, Nature started getting serious about his career in 2002. Since then, he has recorded with Big Ship, King Jammy’s, Truckback Records and Ricardo Gardener’s Heart of Love Music label.

Having played UK dates in June 2015 supporting Congo Natty, Nature’s now set to launch his album ‘Life’s
Journey’ across the world.
